No ForceFeedback on Sidewinder FF2

So my dad has had a Microsoft sidewinder FF2 in storage for longer then I've probably around, I decided to take it out and try it on arma 3 which it works fine on but i noticed one issue, The force feedback side of it does not seem to work, I've tried re calibrating it and such through the windows controller menu but it doesn't work. I am on windows 10 and am aware that it isn't designed for Win 10 out of the box but im sure that the Red blinking light where others have a green stable light is no normal.

Take a look at this thread and see if that helps.

Once drivers are installed in compatibility mode, you can see if the Force Feedback comes up.
