No Idea What I should Post This Alienware Laptop For on CL

Guys. I've been considering selling my Alienware 17 Laptop (the new one), but can't figure out how much to sell it for since not many with the same exact specs are up for sale. (Nothing to compare it to, basically). Any thoughts on what I should post it up for? I'm posting it on Craigslist because I'm paranoid that a buyer will scam me on Ebay by returning it with changed out parts or damaging it.

SPECS:
4th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-4900MQ processor
(8MB Cache, up to 4.0GHz w/ Turbo Boost)
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 780M with 4GB GDDR5
16GB DDR3L at 1600MHz (2 x 8G)
1TB 5400 + 80 mSATA HDD
17.3" 120Hz WLED FHD (1920 x 1080) TrueLife Display w/3D Bundle
Slot-Loading Dual Layer Blu-ray Reader (BD-ROM, DVDRW, CD-RW)

I basically took it out of the box last week to check it out & and test out the 3D glasses then reboxed it. So what should I price it for on CL? And... should I even sell it? It looks ridiculously beautiful and I'm drooling over it, but I'm at this point in my life where I'd rather save that money to chip into a down payment for my future home, car, bike, or just other things in life worth enjoying. The other reason is because I recently received an EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti as a thank you gift from a client, which I'm about to add to a 4770S i7 build anyway.

I'm seriously not sure what I should do and this laptop will only depreciate each week that I keep it in a box.

Pretty straightforward... list it for a little bit less than retail as incentive for people to get it from you instead of a big box store. They also won't be paying you state tax, so that's another bonus for them.

If you can't get rid of it fast enough, drop the price a little more, although you probably won't have to do that. People who spend this much on stuff have already made up their minds that they WILL buy it, so as long as you give the best deal, even if it's only like $200 off, they'll buy from you.

List your item on a place like Ecrater.com, they charge less fees than ebay. If you go the ebay route, see if you can get people to pay you through Ecrater, then agree to cancel the transaction on ebay to get your sellers fees back
I'm sure you could sell it for $100 off what you paid for it. It's very new and barely used. It's not like trying to sell 4 year old technology. I feel you should be able to get back very close to all your money.

Also, I think you'd have a better chance on eBay.
