[SOLVED] "No Internet Access" for IPv6

I used to have a wireless internet connection, with that connection I had IPv6 readily available to me. Recently I bought a wired internet connection. When I check the connection status it says "No Internet Access" for IPv6.

So then I checked with the Test-IPv6 site. It says "No IPv6 address detected" after the test is run. What should I do to fix this?

ps : my router is a Prolink PRS1140 model, if that helps.

Check your wired network adapter's configuration window.

Ensure that IPv6 is enabled.

Also ensure that the wireless network adapter is disabled.

I'm totally new to these stuff. Can you explain how to do that?

I entered to the Router settings, but I can't find an option to simply enable IPv6. There are a lot of options for many things with little to no explanation what they do.

Both of @Ralston18 statements are changes on the PC, not the router.

Network Adapter changes on the PC:

Right click the Windows icon, lower left corner.

From the menu list select Run

In the Open box type ncpa.cpl then click okay.

A window should open showing your network name(s) and Bluetooth.

Right click your network name and select Properties.

Under the Networking tab, scroll down until you find the check box for IPv6 and click to select.

Okay and exit.

Note: explore first to find your way around. Make only the one change.

Do you really need ipv6 connectivity?
I highly doubt that. Leave it disabled.
