What was the original reason for factory resetting the router?

Overall, as a result of the factory reset, you need to fully reconfigure the Asmax modem/router per the User Guide/Manual with respect to both wired and wireless networking.

Does the following link show your router?

Do you own the Asmax or lease it from your service provider? Either way, you will need both the Asmax's User Guide/Manual along with any applicable installation information provided by your ISP/Service provider.

Basically, start completely over as if the Asmax is brand new to your network.
