No keyboard or mouse until i hard reset

Hi something really weird going on with my computer. It boots normally in to windows but the keyboard and mouse both usb do not work until I do hard reboot by hitting reset and it then reboots into Windows 10 and then the USB keyboard and mouse work. What would be causing all this

Faulty Usb chipset on motherboard may cause this. I once had a gigabyte mobo which never detected any usb device. You should get it seen at a rma center

No, hardware is fine it's something to do with windows 10. USB ports are working. Even if I use UBS mouse and keyboard or even leave midi keyboards plugged in via USB they light up but don't physically work till I boot hard reset using reset button. It's strange...

I tried [strike]cable[/strike] both wired and wireless keyboard too, same [strike]results[/strike] problem.

Try updating the motherboard BIOS to the latest version.
