[SOLVED] No Logon Servers available.. because I was stupid and changed the ethernet cable on the server. Any fix?

Hey all,

So I kind of shot myself in the foot with this one.. Long story short, our rack looked ugly as hell. I removed a long mis-colored ethernet cable from the Server and the Switch. I replaced it with a shorter color-matched one, and it lights up green on the switch itself. Should work!

However, when I go to log on, it's giving me the error: "there are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request".

We do have a Primary Domain Controller, which seems to have the DNS Server Role. Do I change something there?

I also tried to ping the Server itself, and I am getting a destination host unavailable error.

Make sure both ends are securely attached (the new cable). Did you restart the attached system after swapping the cable?

Try reinstalling the old cable; it may be as simple as a defective cable.
