Not that it's a problem for me as mine kit is running fine, but my Radeon software has been stating "Up to date" on v21.11.3 since 16th Nov 2021, thats 10 weeks ago. Really ?
Is it me as I've never known such a lull in GPU driver updates ?

Thanks for the reply, yes I have the RX5700XT. I did look on the AMD website prior to posting this thread and saw that the 22.1.2 is "optional" but not yet broadcast out to the AMD Radeon Software so I have not installed it, until it tells me there is a newer version available.
I just seems rather a long time and not like AMD from my experience over the many years.
I updated my 5700XT to 22.1.2 but went back to 21.11.3. I had problems with MS FlightSim 2020 crashes in DX12 (game crashes, not airplane :) ). But it also ran super hot for some reason: I was getting temps 105 to as high as 115C in the same settings used with 21.11.3 but temps in mid-90's.

I think it will remain as optional updates until they submit for WHQL...
It would help the community if you stated what the model of your AMD graphics card is. If you're going to state looking into your sig space please keep in mind that this thread and any relevant solutions/suggestions would be moot to the same user as you.

If I used your RX5700XT listed in your sig space at the time of writing, then the latest drivers version shown on AMD's support site is version Adrenalin 22.1.2 which was released on 1/25/2022.

I think it will remain as optional updates until they submit for WHQL certification again, then it comes out as recommended. Either that or it only recommends an update if it finds you have a game installed that needs recently added optimizations for improved performance.
