Hi.
I replaced my 7870hd for a zotac 1060 today.
Slotted it in and booted. The fans started up but that was it. No video, no beep. Stable light near power button. No light near reset button
I switched back to my old card and still the same problem.
Plugged out all cards and tried the integrated gpu. Still no luck.

I tried resetting cmos by removing battery.
Tried switching ram slots.
Reseated the mobo. It has risers preinstalled.

Could a faulty gpu break my mobo?

How old is your PSU? Are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard?
