I recently just put my motherboard in my new case as well as a new GPU and a 600W PSU, now from what I can see it all looks perfectly fine to me but when I turn it on there's no power going to my PC at all, nothing even starts up. No fans, lights, nothing.

Yeah I plugged it in then unplugged then plugged back in. I gave it an extra push to make sure it's in properly. Could it be terms of a faulty power supply?

I just had a look and I can only seem to see a 4 PIN connector next to my CPU, where would the 8 PIN be located?

Yeah that was already connected. I have a CiT Mars case and now I come to think of it there never was a obvious wire to connect the power button to the Motherboard?

Thing is I have no idea what that cable is? I have a CiT Mars case if that's beneficial. All the wires just seem to be either fan or LEDs.

If you hook up a different power supply without hooking up the case's power button to the motherboard you're still going to have the same problem.

I don't have the manual for the CiT Mars so I have no idea how the connectors are labeled but one of them has to be for the power switch.

Okay I've found the power button switch and I actually forgot to plug that in aha, but I turn it on and the LED's switch on for about a second then turn off, the fan starts at joly too as if there's power but it just doesn't start up? I have a 600W PSU, that should be enough surely?

Thank you for your help but I don't have any thermal paste lying around. I'll have to take it to TechBods at the beginning of the week.

Thanks all.
