No SATA detection

G'day

I've just built 2 new PC's.....

Asus K8V SE Deluxe in both pc's

Athlon64 3200 in one
Athlon64 3400 in the other
1x Segate 7200.7 80GB SATA hard disk in both

Both PC's are NOT detecting the SATA drives!!!
There is no other hard disks installed other than the above.

Have swapped drives & psu's...still with no success.
Everything else seems to be ok...just no SATA!!!

Thanks for any info you might have.

check your bios yah gotta turn on the sata.

Make sure that you set the boot order to SCSI first.
