Question No side panel best airflow cooling?

Hi All,

First time posting here and I was wondering what your suggestion would be for the optimal airflow intake/exhaust for a system with no side panel? Trying to do a mining rig, running this 24/7, thank you in advance for all your help!

System Specs:
CPU: 3970X
Motherboard: TRX40 AORUS Master
Case: Fractal Define 7 XL
Fans: NOCTUA NF-A14 & be quiet! SHADOW WINGS 2 140mm

With side panel off, there's not much point in case fans. You can remove them all.

With side panel on - #3 and #5 would make most sense. Note - intakes must be filtered.

Thanks for the suggestion @USAFRet, I currently have the setup like that for now but also seeing post where people are saying to put intake at the bottom of the case since heat rises upwards.

Thanks @SkyNetRising, that's roughly what I currently have. Only one of the side panel for my setup, motherboard access side, just worried about cooling since I'll be having this running 24/7.
