No signal error on my new monitor??

I recently completed my gaming pc and bought a monitor and connect it to my pc via hdmi it shows no signal on my screen help.

Connect it DVI and enable HDMI.
In the monitor menu did you enable HDMI?

NO, I DIDN'T ENABLE HDMI, I DON'T HAVE AN DVI CABLE. HOW DO I GET IN THE MENU?

In the lower right hand corner of the monitor, there is a menu you can bring up.

yea i did that but when i select input it just takes me to the no signal screen, it dosn't show any options?

Do you have multiple HDMI ports?
Try another port if so.

It worked.... Just had to restart the pc. Thanks for the help... I'll install won 10 next
