Was just on discord with mates then my screen goes black and I hear all the fans in my computer slow down, shut it off then tried to boot it again, nothing. I get the case lights and keyboard/mouse lights but nothing on screen, had a similar problem before and fixed it by replacing a sata cable
I've tried changing the cable, checking all components are securely in, checked the monitor and cables yet still nothing.

And that computer is still refusing to boot - correct?

My thought is that the PSU has failed.

You can do some testing if you have a multi-meter and know how to use it.

The testing only tests voltages and not what happens when the PSU is actually under a load.

However, if one of the output voltages has been completely lost or is out of spec then the PSU is likely the cause of the problem.

Unfortunately i dont have acces to a multimeter. The computer itself boots I can hear the hard drive start and every fan spins but there's no signal to the monitor
