My pc currently has windows 7 on it, but I am trying to download install windows 10 on it. When i load the windows 10 boot media to do a clean instal,l it shows the windows 10 logo then goes to no signal. And if i try to update to windows 10 through windows 7 it fails and i get an error.
0xC1900101 - 0x2000C
The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during APPLY_IMAGE operation

I also have tried using a different hard drive. If anyone could help that would be great.

Things I have tested that don't fix it:
Different ram
Taken the graphics card out and used onboard graphics
Tried a clean install on a new hard drive.

Solution
Make sure to use the Microsoft media creation tool to create your install USB. Try using another USB port; sometimes only a USB 2 port will work. Try using another USB. Make sure only the source USB and target drive are attached; no other USB or drive
