No sound after installing TV Tuner

No sound. I installed a Hauppague TV tuner. After connecting it to the PCIe slot, the sound wouldn't work. I can see the green bar go up and down.
OS: Win8.1
MB: Gigabyte Z87X-HD3, integrated sound card. Realtek Audio
Attempts so far: Mute is off on both the computer and the program. Sound it turned up. Audio jack is in the correct spot (green). Speakers work with other inputs. Deleted driver - restarted. Reinstalled driver - restarted. Updated windows- restarted. TV tuner card removed-restarted. Went into BIOS and disabled the integrated sound card- restarted. Then enabled it and restarted. Short of a new MB, any other ideas? Thank you.

Right click on your volume icon at the bottom right of your screen
Select playback devices
If you don't see your tv tuner in there: right click in the window you just opened and select "show disabled devices" and "show disconnected devices"
Right click on your tv tuner card and select "set as default playback device"

Apply settings and close it
