I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. My BIOS and driver are up to date.
I am just trying to use the green analog speaker port. I have a front and back port on the system. I have tried both, neither seems to work. Windows doesn't recognize when I plug into it. When I check the sound devices in Control Panel, it shows that there are two Realtek digital devices set as default. One is "default device", the other is "default communications device". It won't let me set Speakers as a default device, that option is grayed out. I tried plugging my speakers into the digital port and that did not work either, even though those devices are set as defaults. I'm at a loss.
