I just installed a new graphics card into my PC. (Nvidia GeForce 1080 Ti)
Sound comes from my speakers just fine.
But when i switch displays to my 4k TV the sound continues to play from my PC speakers and not from the TV itself as i had previously before installing the new card.
Now, when i click on playback devices i have two options listed:
Speakers and Digital Audio (S/PDIF). The TV is not listed.
If i click on Digital Audio (S/PDIF) nothing happens. I have tried right clicking on a blank area of the box and have enabled "show disabled devices" and "show disconnected devices" but nothing new appears.
I have also booted into the bios and checked to make sure that the audio there hasn't been disabled in someway and i can confirm that it hasn't, it remains enabled.
Any ideas?
