Hello ladies and gentlemen,
I have no start menu on a Lenovo Legion desktop PC, windows 11.
Also, I tried running windows update, but now it's stuck on a failed update loop every time I restart the PC, both before accessing Windows when starting, and before closing it.
I do have a desktop though ; wallpaper, icons and folders on it.
Problem is as simple as that. I have to say, that Lenovo has given me some time for a while now. It's been a series of problems that I managed to fix, but this one is a troublesome one.
It also said once that "Explorer was saturated with memory". Restarted multiple times the PC for various oprations and the memory usage doesn't go over 20-25%. (16 gigs total)
I tried:
-Uninstalling the latest installed program (Avira antivirus)
-Update Windows (giving me the problem mentionned just before)
-"SFC /scannow" typed on cmd.exe with administrative rights ; It says the PC is already trying to run a repair (roughly translating from French, maybe it's a different term in english)
-Restore system to a previous save : The oldest one I've got is two days old. It failed to restore.
I'm a bit puzzled on that one aas it's one of the rare times for me that the tools simply "refuse" to work. Could someone give me a hand in this situation?
Thank you very much for your time.
P.S. - Does Lenovo Legion tend to be troublesome like that? (bloatwares?) I prepared and managed three new laptops (ASUS) plus other desktop PCs over the last years, but this one...behaves weirdly.
