Hello guys,
since a week, my PC with the following specs behaves very strange:

ASUS X99-E WS, UEFI Firmware version 3502
Intel Xeon E5-1650v4
4x8GB Micron 18ASF1G72PZ-2G1A2 DDR4-2133 reg ECC (Kingston ValueRAM)
NVidia Titan X (2014) by Palit, VGA BIOS version 84.00.1F.00.01
Intel 750 Series PCIe card 400 GB SSD
Intel p600 Series PCIe M.2 1TB SSD
120 GB Patriot Flaire SSD (SATAIII)
4TB HGST DeskStar HDD (SATAIII)
Dell UltraSharp UP3216Q via DisplayPort on Titan X
Windows 10 Pro

The problem is, that sometimes the machine seems to reboot several times when turning it on, then beeps, then a long beep followed by three short ones indicating "NO VGA" and boots into Windows without me having an image on the screen.

After some retries the UEFI enables CSM Legacy mode, which outputs low resolution on boot-up. Then everything works, also 4K60 resolution in Windows.

It first happened when I wanted to wake the system up from sleep mode. Didn't come back up, 3 reboots (noticeable by the fans spinning up and down) and then CSM got enabled, then it worked and the machine booted up again complaining it has crashed.

I use a power strip with master/slave functionality. But I didn't at that recently, I use this for quite a while now.

I also didn't change anything on my system. When it boots up and I have my image, it's perfectly fine. The system is 100% stable, no crashes, no BSODs, Titan X and CPU have full performance and good temps.

Is there any Monitor / DisplayPort / Graphics Card expert who knows what that issue is?

Oh and also strange: It seems the monitor's settings got restored to factory defaults, cause the brightness was down to 75% which matches the contrast setting of 75%. I don't change the contrast and have brightness up on 100% all the time, since I use it in calibrated AdobeRGB mode all the time...

What I tried to fix it: Changed the DisplayPort cable, tried the other DP-Ports on the GPU, tried the big DP-Port on the monitor instead of the miniDP one, etc. Nothing helped. I could even disable CSM and have it boot a few times with native resolution on UEFI, but when the PC cold starts it refuses to do so...

I hope it's not my GPU or my Monitor and I hope you guys can help me find out what's wrong suddenly...

I keep CSM on for now and see if this problem is solved through it, but I don't like to have CSM on, so it would be nice if we can find the issue and fix it.

Thanks for your help!

EDIT1:

Now it even doesn't work anymore in CSM mode. What is this shit? Is the graphics card dodgy?? After 3.5 years, it's broken?

Nope. Problem returned and a BIOS flash didn't help.
I could try another GPU from Work to test if it is my GPU, but that would not 100% mean the Titan X is dead, cause it could be the motherboard, too...

I REALLY need help and ideas to fix this...
