Our two wired computers, one with XP and one with Vista, work fine with our old router, Linksys BEFW11S4. Our new laptop with Win7 is unable to connect to our network when I enable the wireless security, however, when it is disabled, the laptop connects fine. Also, if I disable the wireless security and connect the laptop to our network and internet, I can then enable the wireless security and I will not lose the connection.
We uninstalled the McAfee that came with the laptop and we tried turning off the Windows 7 firewall. Neither made a difference.
Any ideas on what settings need to be changed to allow the laptop to connect when the wireless security is enabled?
Thanks.
