Non bloated browsers

I just found out Google Chrome runs on the background which takes ram and also I find it slow now. Previous years it was just simple and just gets the job done! I think the syncing featured ruined it... BUt anyways you guys recommend any other browser to use now?

RAM is to be used. That is why you have RAM.

I guess this is similar to why we have food at home. It is to be eaten. Not just looked at.
