Question None of my shortcuts works on Windows 10

Since the last month the shortcuts I put on my desktop from my external hard drive doesn't work. Only the web links shortcuts are working.

I hope you can help me.

Hello, Like the subject, my computer make a loud sound and it crash when i try to start a game. I would like to know how to fix that. Thanx in advance for your answer.

No, this problem is older maybe about 4 month ago and it actually is not that urgent because playing videogames on it is not its main purpose.

Perform the following:

1. Right click on the shortcut
2. Select "Properties"
3. Copy the text field in the "Start in:" entry
4. Press Windows Key + R, this should open the Run dialog
5. Paste the text from step 3 into the Run dialog and press the "OK" button

If it doesn't work, then the shortcut is no longer pointing to the right path to launch wherever it's pointing to.

An error window opened and it's saying that he cannot find it. So perphaps i have to change the path link on the properties of the shortcuts, that's what you are telling me?
