Noob Question but help me choose a PSU

Hello,

So long story short my current PSU fan has broken and I think that's what is causing issues with my PC (Crashing). So I'm trying to look around for a new PSU to power my current and future upgrades. Anyway I was wondering if a Seasonic X-760 80PLUS Gold would work?

Current and Future Build:
Phenom ii x4 965 ---> Intel i5-3770k (Going into senior year need the 3770k for video editing)
Ga-870A-UD3 ---> Really any 7ZZ motherboard
8Gb of Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz
Gigabyte 5870 HD ---> GTX 670
SATA Samsung 1TB - Secondary Disk
Western Digital VelociRaptor 600GB - Main Disk

So would this PSU be enough to power my current and future build?

Hi, So it is a power supply issue. I have a Corsair TX 750 with the same graphics card. 3 yrs now and no issues. So, yes, 760W are enough.

Thanks, I'm not really sure exactly whats the issue but I've been trying to narrow it down and I saw the issue with the broken fan on my PSU so I'll replace that and see if it fixes the crashing, along with that I'm upgrading my graphics card non the less.

The Seasonic X series is one of the highest rated and highest quality power supply lines out there in the market. The X750/760 is underrated for the amount of power that it can give (tad more than 1000w's) out stably.

It's fine for any and all single or dual gpu configurations out there along with significant overclocks.
