I installed NAV 2005 on a XP machine with the SP2. The computer would have
the blue screen of death. "Error message IRQL_NOt_Less_OR_Equal Stop" I ran
Live date as per NAV but this did not correct the problem. I unstalled NAV
and reinstalled. I even delete the registry keys that call the SymEvent
files. There were 8 keys to delete but I only found 3. A friend suggested I
do a restore point prior to the install. I chose a date and restore. Now
when I try to install NAV 2005- the CD comes up but nothing happens. Then I
was going to restore back for today, the restore file is just a big white
screen. Then my network places went blank.nothing. So I get my restore CD
for XP- can not restore because the CD disc is a earlier version than what is
on the computer. It this because I upgrade to SP2? Help- this is the main
computer for the network. I have back ups of the information stuff.

If you got a slipstreamed WInxp, that should od the trick for you. If you
want the blue screen analyzed, then contact your software provider.
