Not able to view multiple tabs in Google Chrome/Firefox

Hello, as of today when i open multiple windows i am no longer able to hover over them with my mouse and see the tab previews. This has only been happening as of today and i have never run into this problem before.

Instead of being able to preview each individual window, instead when i hover over it with my mouse i am given a list of the pages i currently have open but i need to click on them each individually in order to see it.

I'm sure this is an easy fix but i've had no luck.
