Not sure if it sees my hardrive ?

My windows won't start up. I start it up and it asks to insert boot media or select proper device. I built my own pc and it worked fine for about 2 weeks.What should i do? I still have the install disk and the uefi bios 'doesn't seem to see the hard drive.It is a seagate 1 tb. Any suggestions? Thanks

The hardrive is sata and I can't plug it into my laptop to check it. Also which of the downloads do I need to use?
