[SOLVED] Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Newbie here

So I recently wanted to add more memory to my mobo. ASRock b450 pro. I was running 8gx2 hyperx fury ddr4 2666mhz. It was in a1 and b1 slots. I wanted to add some rgb ram 8gbx2 dog spectrum d60g ddr4 rgb 3000mhz. When I run 4 sticks I get system crashes before bios. I've run the new sticks alone and it boots and I've run the old ones alone and it boots. What am I doing wrong?

Because your RAM isn't the same, they aren't guaranteed to work together. This sounds like the problem in your case.

Well alright. Just wanted to make that I wasn't doing something wrong.

Install the 3000mhz RAM modules in slots a2-b2. Leave the others out(forever). Enter BIOS and enable XMP/D.O.C.P.
