Hey! About 7 months ago I built a computer here are the specs.
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
MSI RTX 2070
32gb 2400 RAM
MSI x470 Gaming Carbon motherboard
2Tb seagate barracuda
Samsung 970 evo m.2 (boot drive)
I was having an issue where I would be gaming, or attempting anything demanding and the screen would go black, whatever I was doing would crash, and sometimes the whole PC would. I took it to a specialist and he “fixed it”.. well he made it more stable but it still crashes. I have swapped the RAM the GPU with my 16 gigs of ddr4 @ 2300 and a 1070. The problem continued. I swapped the GPU back but not the ram. I decided to give up. I set the computer up for my girlfriend on an older monitor of mine.. she was able to play anything and do demanding processes I couldn’t do before. My daily monitor is a 2k resolution @ 75hz . So I took the computer and plugged it into another 32 inch TV of mine to test.. it also worked fine.
My question is; is it possible this whole time, my monitor could be causing the crashing?
