NT Account lockout

I have a weird problem here.

I have a user whose account is consistently being locked
after just one login.

WHen I look at the event logs and find the entry for this
user I find the Caller Machine Name is the users
workstation, Computer A, where the lockout is occurring.

I unlocked the account and had the user login to another
workstation, Computer B, and then logout. I checked User
Manager and his account was locked again. I checked the
event log and noticed the Caller Machine Name was still
showing as Computer A. I unlocked it again and had the
user try a third machine, Computer C. THe user account
was again locked out after login and logout on Computer C,
yet the event log still showed the Caller Machine Name as
Computer A.

If I'm reading this correctly, something on Computer A is
causing the account lockout no matter where this user logs
in. I'm not certain where to look for an answer to this.
Anyone???

We are running NT4 Servers SP6a. The workstations used in
this test are all running Windows 2000 Workstation Pro SP4
with all the lastest greatest patches installed.

We have drop and re-added this account to the domain but
that didn't solve the problem.

Looking for a little nudge in the right direction.

Thanks.

A service or program that is using an old account and
password?
