Nay, with 4000 series coming, many will wait and see... Back then, when 2080ti was the fastest gaming card, Nvidia release 3080 which blew it away and 3070 which is right on par and much cheaper...

I would bet that 4080 will be faster than than 3090ti and 4070 could well be very close to it. I would also bet that 4070 will cost less than 1099 (real street price you see on Newegg, Amazon etc..)

I expect 4070 to have a street price below 800 and MSRP below 600. 4080 might be 999.
