This mobo have the p35 that don’t support CF or SLI

So you cannot get a two 4890's but you can get a GTX295 or a 4870x2 and of course you have to OC you q6600.

What resolution do you use?

An other alternative is to wait for the new DX11 cards(comes out late this year) and upgrade at the same time to i7 + x58 + DDR3 + the new DX11 cards.

I use 1920/1200 usually, otherwise it gets too small... what do you think i'd cost to upgrade my Mobo to another, more suitable 1? a better.. but not an overpriced 1 :)

Yeah i do realise that'd be a good idea to wait for those, but... they're out like.. late september, and all the game's i've been waiting for... is out like... in 2 weeks or so 😛 ... besides, it's unlike they even hit the market late september, since Windows 7 etc, has been pushed almost to late october... and i really do miss a great graphic card :s i hate playing on medium :s

Besides... i've absolutely no idea how to overclock anything... havn't even done it once :) so that'd be kinda risky for me? I'm not really much into computer... i mean, i do like gaming etc, but all the technical stuff's not really my speciality...

wouldn't my pc overheat? Got a pretty good cab for cooling (Extreme Engine 3T) but as said, i have no idea how to do it...

Jeez, i've found a guide to do it... but it's so complicated... And it takes what... minimum 10 hours atleast with those stab testing programs it'll be running?

This guide's for 3.0 Ghz instead of 3.6 as Helloworld wanted me to go for :)

Even tho, For now i'll go with 1 x Nvidia 295 since my Mobo can't handle Crossfire, and a Corsair PSU with atleast 50 amp... 800W .. then i'll try to OC my cpu one of the upcomming days, with help from a friend of mine... suppose that'll do for most games at 1920/1200 resolution 😛
