So I need a specific graphics card, with a specific monitor, and specific glasses, and I need to use a specific browser JUST to watch 3D on my computer? And I would want to do this, why?

Christ, will the 3D fad just die already? Obviously there is no recession, not if people can actually afford to buy all this crap.

[citation][nom]Proxy711[/nom]Wow just one more reason why everyone should drop what they are doing and go buy 3D monitors, 3D glasses and a Nvidia 3D vision graphics card. [/citation]

There. Fixed it.

If 3D hasn't die already, maybe it's more than a fad this time around? I'm just wondering, I don't really care for 3D.

My question might be dumb, but is 3D on PC usable with any monitor? Or do you need a 120hz panel like you do with a TV?

I'd be quite surprised if 3D went away. After trying 3D in games, I want them to develop the technology more, not less. I haven't viewed a 3D movie yet, but if gaming is any indication, there are some very cool things on the horizon.

You need a 3D ready monitor, preferably 120Hz

This is kind of neat. Why do people complain about new features? If you don't want to use them, don't f***ing use them.

What I think is pretty funny is that it only runs on FireFox, and not on Chrome made by google!
Either way I don't have 3D capable hardware and such, so its not like it matters to me! I'll stick to my 2D Chrome.... B)

I just hope the resolution is good enough to actually enjoy the 3d. Some movies are definitely cooler in 3d, but if the resolution is spotty it might ruin the effect.

kinda feels like 3D is being pushed, like sales on HDTVs have dropped because most of everyone has upgraded so they deiced to force 3D down our throats to keep profits at a high.
That being said Ive played a few 3D games on my friends PS3, and it was pretty awesome, if i had the cash id upgrade my PC for 3D gaming. but i gotta give 3D movies in the theater a Big thumbs down.

I've been able to do that in IE8 for a while now. The only catch was that you had to click the full screen button on the player for Flash to work with the 3D part of the graphics driver

Well, needing an Nvidia 8800GT or better doesn't seem like much. Just the same, monitors and televisions are slowly becoming more and more 3D ready(or 120Hz) where I would love to pick up a 3D ready projector (Or just a 1080p+ projector.)
