Question Nvidia control panel missing from windows control panel. I've tried everything I can think of.

I wanted to check and make sure my monitor was running at 60hz a little while ago... went to open nvidia control panel and it is gone for some reason. I used it just the other day. I have already searched in the windows control panel. I uninstalled my drivers with DDU in safe mode and then did a fresh install....still no control panel. I am currently at a loss. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

I am running windows 10 with a ryzen 2600 and a gtx1060 3gb.

edit: windows 10 is totally up to date as well

I googled the problem first thing and found that page as well. Tried everything there. None of it worked, sadly. Thanks anyway.

If anyone ever finds this thread with the same issue, the Nvidia Control Panel is available in the Microsoft store for free!

So, is the NVCP now working properly on your system ? Kind of strange MS's website is also hosting Nvidia's control panel though.

Have u tried DDU? Do a display driver unistall and when finishing the download, remember to choose advanced options, and put a cross in the box that says it will erase all older drivers

Try IObit Uninstaller, it will delete all programs or drivers that you want to remove including left over registries.
