NVIDIA Driver can't be installed due to a 7 zip error

I have tried everything such as uninstalling a previous version, running it with administrator, re-downloading etc.. This still didn't work.
I've searched for the solution of it but NVIDIA attributed it to user's PC not their corruption file. I'm sure that they uploaded a corrupted and invalid file. When will they decide to fix it ?

Can you show screenshot of the error?
7 zip is not required for Nvidia driver installation. It might be interfering with install process.
Have you tried uninstalling 7 zip?

Thanks for replying. I solved it. The solution is to use Chrome, not MS browsers (Edge, IE)
But Nvidia must fix this problem on MS browsers in order for users to install it whatever browsers they use.

It isnt Nvidias fault that MicroGit browsers are a POS; after all, it isnt like they have only recently become that, IE has been a POS for 2 decades, and Edge was a POS the day it was first demo'ed.

I'd run some virus and malware scans. Corrupted downloads and zip file errors are a common symptom of a virus inserting a copy of itself into all your downloaded files. It's possible that you've got one which piggyback's off Microsoft's browser.

You can download non-zip files also. Or even get a older file version from a trusted website (or while running an antivirus) and then just update manually from the Nvidia experience.
