Alright, so I run an ASUS laptop that's always played games really well. Only problem being, I was playing OVERWATCH and I have been pretty consistently for the past, I don't know, week or so. A lot. Anyway. My temps never got over 77 degrees celsius for awhile, which I'm sure was a pretty normal temp for anyone else that I saw playing the game on youtube or whatever, but just to be safe I got a cooling pad for it and it seemed to keep it at a decent temp...until today. See, I was playing OW for awhile, checking temps and so on, and the thing got up to 85... Now I've heard that's actually not such a crazy temp to be running at, but since then I've had two blue screens and my card is showing a code 43... Also, the error I got with the blue screen was something like DRIVERIQRL LESS THAN EQUAL or something of that nature. Have I basically fried my card? It's gonna really suck to have to replace something that costed 1200$ when I bought it.

Solution
Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to do a clean install of the graphics card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Nvidia graphics driver.
- Next is to open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to Nvidia.
- Once uninstalled, download and install the latest driver.
- Here's the link: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
- Reboot the laptop once the latest driver has been uninstalled.
- After the reboot do set Nvidia as the default GPU.
- Here's how: http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2615/~/how-do-i-customize-optimus-profiles-and-settings%3F
- Please do also open the laptop and clean the cooling fans and apply new thermal paste on the CPU and GPU.

Thank you, reinstalling the drivers and updating the card seems to have worked just fine after a couple reboots.
