nvidia GPU always on load even when not in games

Hi guys!

something unusual is happening to my laptop, i use msi afterburner to monitor my GPU activity, lately ive been hearing the fan more often even when im not playing any game, so i checked afterburner and i found out nvidia GPU is always on load, temp from 50 to 60, clock to the max, when it is supposed to be 0 and the pc should be using the integrated intel graphics
why is this happening? why isn't it windows using integrated graphics like it always did?

GTX 960M
intel HD 530/i5 6300HQ
Win10 pro 64bit
12 GB RAM

how to solve this?

maybe there is something in the background using GPU even when there is no games running. try disabling anything that using GPU for hardware acceleration first. then try running AV scan. worse case it could be mining virus accessing your GPU.
