[SOLVED] NVIDIA performance overlay

Ive recently bought a MSI Geforce RTX 3060 ti Gaming Z trio graphics card. Its max boost speed is supposed to be 'up to' 1845MHz but when playing games, it's often running at 2025MHz. Ive not overclocked it in any way, how reliable is the NVIDIA performance overlay? Having said that, it also says on HWINFO that it is running at 2040MHz?

Solution
That is basically just the vendor-guaranteed max boost speed that any of their cards of that model can hit, no matter how bad the chip on it is. Most cards can easily hit more.

For example, my Gainward Phoenix RTX 3070Ti is rated as 1770MHz max boost clock by Gainward, yet hits 1950MHz with stock settings and 2025MHz at max with undervolting and unoptimized (read, can likely get even higher) OC. So it's pretty reliable, especially HWInfo.
