[citation][nom]englandr753[/nom]Now I want to see this thing running 5,000 SSD's in raid with 10,000 gigs of ram. How many seconds would it take to load windows? It would also be funny to watch the new guy get the run around when the two scientists send him to the other end of the system to put the installation disk in the cd rom drive...[/citation]

It would not be significantly faster to login to windows (if at all) then an 2500k system with an SSD. Loading up windows is largely a single threaded process so adding more cores and processors doesn't do anything. The advantage would be in starting up multiple instances of windows quickly.

Thinking that it will speed up windows boot time is like thinking getting multiple women pregnant will get you a child faster. You'll have more children, but you'll still have to wait 9 months.

You read too deeply into that, lol. It was all joking in good fun...

[citation][nom]dragonsqrrl[/nom]Ya, sorry dude, that question just doesn't hold the same weight as it did with Crysis. BF3 maxed at 1920x1200 actually performs quite well on high end single GPU configurations.[/citation]
Ultra textures were NOT shipped with the BETA. We don't know how cards perform on Ultra.
