Nvidia Quadro FX 4800: Workstation Graphics At Its Finest?

i know that any nvidia geforce gpu beyond G80 doesn't have a nvstrap driver tab in rivatuner so it can't modded to quadro ..... if any one found workaround to mod G200 please let us know

It really bums me that there is no soft-mod for the high end gaming cards.

if the Quadro FX 4800 is exactly the same in hardware specs to the GTX280

maybe there is a ROM-mod? if there is no soft change...

or FIRMWARE change?

is somebody working on that?

I did a bench on a Quadro 5600 vs GeForce 285. I got similar results in specview... but when I did a real world bench, it was VERY different. http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=23&t=783622 and read for yourself.

Tom can't you throw some Geforce cards in the Mix like the Gtx 580 3gb, 480 and 570.
The Gtx will crush those cards. 3Gb ram 512 shaders Imax can use all the shaders and ram on the cards.
The quadros wil hit artifacts while the 580 powers away with its 3GB
