Nvidia Shield and my Router

Recently ive been thinking of getting a nvidia shield to go with my pc and im wondering if my router wull 'work' with it and that no noticable lag occuring. My router is the Netgear CG3100D-2 with 2.4 ghz. It would be great if someone would answer.
