Hello,
GPU: GTX 1060 6GB
I've been recently noticing at random times, I'll turn my PC on the next day and one of my monitors will show "Displayport No Signal." The first time it happened, I panicked because I thought my GPU or monitor/cable was failing. I noticed there was a graphics card update so I ran that which didn't fix the issue. I messed around with the cables and swapped their ports at the GPU. That didn't work except move the display from one monitor to another while the opposing one wasn't showing anything. I knew at that point the monitors weren't bad because they both had Windows display when I swapped ports.
I then went into my Display Settings of Windows 11 and noticed the dropdown to the right next to "Identify" had "Show only on 1" selected. I changed it to "Extend these displays" and that fixed the issue. Today, the same thing happened so I ran back these steps and the issue was fixed. Lo and behold though, there was an NVIDIA graphics update.
Why are the updates causing this to happen?
