Hello,

I just upgraded to Win10 but it my Nvidia drivers aren't working. So I tried updating them to the new Windows 10 driver (353.62) but it keeps failing (see: http://imgur.com/5rkuV7I ). Then, I went to the Nvidia website and tried to download it from there but then this happens: https://imgur.com/eYYnYGc and when I try to automatically find the drivers it says that Java isn't installed (https://imgur.com/vDpc1pR) so I redownloaded Java for 1000 times but that also isn't helping.
How can I fix this and download the Nvidia driver?

Thanks!

Solution

The problem is when you install windows 10 you don't wipe your hard disk and you can't install windows10 driver because you already have the one for windows 7 or 8.1 so I suggest you to search in windows.old or in nividia folder and unninstal the old one and install net framework 4.5 as well

Hey, I already tried other browsers and that also isn't working. Right now I am on a diffrent PC and I still get the same error message from the Nvidia site:
'System Message

Please try again at a later time. Sorry for the inconvenience.'

That's what I got when I downloaded the appropriate driver from Nvidia's site, crazy. Right after upgrading to Win 10 I ran DDU to ensure drivers were wiped clean, GFE tool worked but performance was horrible and Windows update installed drivers too which didn't do anything. Eventually I redownloaded the drivers again from Nvidia's site and it worked (this time I picked custom), how weird.

I had the exact same error with my GTX 970. I tried the install again via the Geforce Experience app and it told me to restart my machine. After doing so, everything worked. The app also said that the driver was already installed and that I'm up to date!

Solution
install the driver from nvidia experience with custom installation and when programs are installed below show comes a box that says relizar select a correct installation the equipment will reboot and ready drivers installed

I have your problem!!!
Close Nvidia, then enter into start "run". Click on the application and then type in on the app "services.msc" (without the speech marks) and it will bring you to a list. Then scroll down to "Nvidia Network Service" and access by double clicking. A dialogue box will appear and then where it says "Start Up Type", click on the drop down arrow and then click automatic. After, press "Okay" on the dialogue box and close "Services" down then open "Nvidia", install the updates and enjoy.

Stop spamming this. It doesn't work. I am already set to automatic.

ok so this solution doesn't work but this will first download nvidia driver 353.62 then download display driver uninstaller let it runn do its thing it will remove all nvidia components from yer system might have to reboot i forget the go back do a clean install the screen will go black wait a min or two then press enter it should reboot if not hold power key for 4 secs and restart and it should work only thing that want be 100% is sli i am still messing with that but will repost when i figure it out just when you enable sli system freeze's and you gotta do a manual restart but will re post when i figure it out

I had the same issues, after upgrading to 10. But what I did, was to first uninstall the driver under Device Manager -> Display adapters -> Properties -> Driver tab. After which I rebooted my machine and checked for updates under Settings -> Update & security. Problem solved.

True, that's something Microsoft and Nvidia need to work out. But at least now it works. Because when I initially upgraded from 7 to 10, I couldn't get any driver updates from Windows. Because your Window 7 driver is included in the upgrade (which I wasn't aware of).
But when I tried to install a separate driver (from the Nvidia website), I could no longer boot up my system. As it apparently caused a conflict with Windows. And as I hadn't made a Recovery usb yet, I couldn't get into safe mode either. So my only option was to reinstall 7 again and repeat the whole upgrade process. Which was a pain in the ass. :pt1cable:

I also got Experience running now. The NVIDIA Control Panel said there was an update available (359.06). So I downloaded and installed it. I was a bit anxious, because of my previous troubles. But to my surprise it also included GeForce Experience and it works fine.

Hi. The install normally unpacks to to the Nvidia folder on the C Drive. Go to the latest version in that folder and right click on the setup file and choose "run as administrator" and see if that works. It worked for me.

Run DDU to completely remove old Nvidia drivers.
Delete Nvidia folder in C: drive.
(optional) Run CCleaner's Registry cleaner to remove any Nvidia residue in registry.
Install MS Framework 4.6.1 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=49982)
Restart PC
Install Nvidia 361.43, making sure you check custom install and check "Clean Install" and DO NOT select GeForce Experience

Well, I didn't have to do that. I left the HD audio checked because I didn't have it installed, but I guess if it doesn't work then retry without selecting HD audio as well.
