I could justify the $300 price point personally for me purchasing a GTX 660 Ti. At $350 the purchase is no longer justifiable for me...

There's a bigger gap between 660Ti and 670 than compared to 680-670. $320 is my bet.

GTX660 arrived at least half year late. I hope nvidia does not suddenly go into trouble as it has been losing ground other segments as well.

It doesn't need any more. Target resolution for this card is likely to be 1080p without AA and 1680x1050 with AA for min 60 fps. Don't think it needs more than 2MB for that. Heck, it's a mid range card.

If that's the deal then it's going to be Nvidia's loss seeing how the 670 is only $50 more. I see the 660 ti competing with the 7870 performance wise and right now you can pick up a 7870 for $300 USD or less.
