So, im building a PC for the girlfriend. She wants it to fast and capable of doing very mundane tasks for now with potentially some gaming added later. She also wants it fairly compact so i thought why not get her a mini PC (i always wanted to play with one). I did a bit of digging and found an intel NUC i like the look of, the SSD for it would be a M.2 connection. i just cant get my head around the NVME PCIe x4 ideas, ive heard read alot of conflicting information so my question is. Is the NUC NVME compatible and if so will it perform at optimum speeds? and would i be able to boot from the SSD?
