For a NVMe SSD with ~2k GB/s read/write would there be any performance reduction or compatibility issues if it was connected unto 4x PCIe 2.0 instead of the PCIe 3 which is supposed to go to? (the mobo has M.2 slot)
The products I have in mind are the Kingston A2000 500GB unto B450 TOMAHAWK MAX which has one PCIe 3 x16 which will be occupied from mobo, and the rest are PCIe 2.
Or am I wrong on how the PCIe is used?
