I have recently bought an Kingston NV2 1TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD

To put in the asrock b450 steel legend motherboard, this ssd is advertised up to 3500mbs, but as you can see from the screenshot it only gets up to around 2300mbs I know the slot is gen3 on the motherboard and the SSD is gen 4 not sure if that's why.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Many products are often "tested" under ideal (not real world) conditions.

And, "2300" is on the path to up to "3500".

Is indexing on?

What all else is (or may be) running?

Take a look in Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and even Process Explorer to discover what all may be using the 1 TB drive.

Or otherwise consuming system resources affecting the SSD.

Use all three tools but only one tool at a time.

Process Explorer:

And you will NEVER be able to tell any difference. Benchmarks are fun, but your real life experience will not change a bit.
I am aware of that and it doesnt bother me, I just want to know why this happenes and how to fix it to increase my general computer knowlege.
