I put a new battery in my Dell Dimension 8400 and now my wireless mouse does not work. I tried the receiver in different USB ports, new batteries in the mouse, hit the reset buttons, cleaned the mouse. I ended up buying a new mouse and receiver and they don't work either. My wireless keyboard does work. Please help.

When you installed the new battery in the computer, it automatically reset the BIOS to factory defaults, which does not include wireless devices.

You need to re-install all the software as well as the drivers for the mouse and the keyboard.
