Question OBS Scene Transition with webcam ?

Hello all,

Having an issue where my webcam source does not reactivate properly when switching scenes in OBS studio.

The webcam is a Logitech BRIO 2022.
Scene A has a webcam source with 1080p res, that I use for streaming games.
Scene B has a webcam source with 4K res, that I use for a full screen cam scene.
The rest of the webcam settings are the same between each scene, and each webcam source is set to 'deactivate when not showing.'

However, when switching between the scenes, they fail to reactivate and I am left with a blank screen until I restart OBS.
OBS Studio is fully updated and I have the latest webcam firmware version, as well as the latest Windows updates.

I had tried toggling the 'deactivate when not showing' option, but this won't work, because the webcam can only be active in one scene at a time when different resolutions are set anyway.
I had also tried the different scene transitions, but the issue persists.

Anyone know a fix?

Not sure about how you are switching between scenes.

Hotkeys?

Lots of information - however, just scroll down to "Hotkeys", "Advanced", and "Scenes and Sources".

Take a close look at the many configuration options available. Hopefully all that is needed is to correct some error of omission or commission therein.
