Question Occasional black screen after reinstalling motherboard, possible ram slot issue?

I recently removed and reinstalled the motherboard on my pc. Since then it has been intermittently lagging for a bit right after booting up, but then it stops doing it once I play games and stuff. It's also doing this random thing occasionally where the screen suddenly goes black in the middle of use.

My initial guess is it's caused by an issue with one of the ram slots because when I first turned it on after the mobo reinstall the stick on one slot didn't light up then I took it off and looked at the slot and there appears to be a tiny scratch or imperfection in the contacts on that slot.

Any advice on how I can further diagnose/fix this would be much appreciated.

This is the hardware in the system:
asus prime h570m-plus/csm
intel i7 11700f
thermaltake contac silent 12 cpu air cooler
pny xlr8 2x8gb 3200mhz rgb ram
pny xlr8 cs3040 nvme ssd
evga rtx 3070 ftw3

Also, I found this Windows System WHEA-Logger warning:
