Question occt cpu fail 5900x

hi,

new ryzen user here.

i moved from intel to try ryzen, when putting in 1 and 3 memory slot, i am getting "physical core error"

when putting in 2 and 4 slot, its all good.

tried with xmp on and off, still the same, i have q skill 3200 cl 16 (tested and working)

cinebench r23 passes with test strability,

seasonic prime gx 750 watt
ryzen 5900x, stock setting
cooler master mb511 mesh
g skill 3200 cl 16 1.35 v 16gb
gpu palit gtx 1080 ti jetsream

Look in the manual for the proper slots.
Update the bios.

is that supposed to be like that? f3 looks stable to me.

If you know the proper slots I don't know what the issue is. If you use a fork to eat cereal it isn't going to work as well as a spoon. If you put 2 sticks of memory in the wrong slots it isn't going to work as well as the correct slots. The proper slots are A2 & B2 for a reason.

"For optimum performance, when enabling Dual Channel mode with two memory modules, we recommend that you install them in the DDR4_A2 and DDR4_B2 sockets"
